Description:
Liposomes are water-lipid structures in which various substances, e.g. vitamins, can be encapsulated and then delivered to cells in the human body . The effectiveness of orally administered liposomes lies, among other things, in their reaching the intestine, where they are absorbed, and in the similarity of their structure to that of the intestinal cell membrane (which facilitates the penetration of the active substance contained in them).
However, before liposomes reach the intestine, they pass through the stomach, where they undergo adverse changes . According to the literature, the average residence time of the contents in the stomach is between 2 and 4 hours. During this time, liposomes aggregate (join together to form large clusters. This increase in the size of the liposomes hinders their further passage into the intestine). (1,2,3,4). Given the above data, it was important to improve the stability of the liposomes and to protect them from the adverse effects of the stomach environment.
Thanks to its unique technology, the Lipocaps C 1000 product contains stable liposomes that are resistant to stomach acids . In addition, they have been protected by a special delayed-release capsule, which, according to research, protects the liposomes for up to 4 hours against the unfavourable stomach environment and releases them very quickly in the intestinal environment.
Prolonged Release. The capsule used in LIPOCAPS C 1000 protects liposomes for up to 4 hours against an adverse stomach environment. In the stomach environment, liposomes are destroyed by stomach acid.
A really clean composition. LIPOCAPS C 1000 was created based on a unique technology, which does not contain, among others artificial additives, preservatives, alcohol and sweeteners. In addition, it does not require storage in the fridge. The technology has been developed in cooperation with the Medical University of Warsaw.
Stability. LIPOCAPS C 1000 is the most stable liposomal vitamin C among the products tested. Stability plays an important role in the case of liposomal products - in the stomach environment they can aggregate (combine to form large, hardly digestible clusters). Aggregation has been observed in the study of liposomal stability of vit. C in gel and liquid form.
