Biotifem 5 mg is a vitamin supplement in tablet form containing a B group vitamin: biotin. Biotin is necessary for normal cell growth, production of fatty acids or metabolism of fats and amino acids. It improves the condition of skin, hair and nails.

Biotifem is used:

In the treatment of biotin deficiencies, manifested, interalia, by: hair loss, excessive brittleness and growth disorder of hair, brittleness and growth disorder of nails and inflammation of the skin located around the eyes, nose, mouth and perineum, provided that the doctor excludes other causes of these symptoms.

In preventing the consequences of biotin deficiency.

Biotifem is used in order to supplement biotin deficiencies and to prevent the consequences of biotin deficiencies.

Composition:

1 tablet contains:
Active substance: 5 mg of biotin,
Other components of the product (supportive substances): isomalt, magnesium stearate.

Action:

Supporting processes of epidermal, hair and nail cell differentiation and keratin formation.

Dosage:

Always take the medicine exactly as described in the leaflet for patients or as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Adults: the recommended dose is 5 mg to 10 mg of biotin per day.
Adults: the recommended dose is 5 mg to 10 mg of biotin per day.

Children and adolescents: can only be used if recommended by a doctor, who will determine the optimal dose of the product.

Elderly: dosage as for younger adults.

The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the disease. Symptoms disappear after about 4 weeks of using.
